support and management services that enable our business to run
efficiently and successfully across the globe.
Human Resources is responsible for recruiting
and developing the brightest and best employees in over 30
locations globally. Our HR teams help TomTom hire, grow and retain
great people so that we stay one step ahead of the competition. HR
is also responsible for organisational design to ensure our
structure operates effectively world wide
Legal
TomTom's lawyers and legal professionals operate globally to
support our commercial transactions and protect our assets through
patent and copyright law, intellectual property licensing and -
where necessary - litigation.
IT manages all our internal information
management and technology infrastructure, including SAP, Oracle,
server and telecommunications. As a major technology company, we
rely on our IT professionals to build, maintain and provide help
desk support for over 3000 employees around the world, 24/7.
Finance provides a range of world-class
services, including auditing, financial analysis, internal and
external reporting and general accounting. Corporate Group teams
are responsible for M&A activities and investor relations.
Tax Corporate Group teams are responsible for
tax and treasury issues in all the jurisdictions in which TomTom
operates around the world.
Procurement
The team is responsible for the acquisition of goods and services
at the best possible total cost, in the right quality and quantity
and at the right time and place.
